NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE SPIRIT

CFC strives to serve ALL members of families because it is our belief that children still need resources as they transition into adulthood and successful lives.

As teens turn into young adults, they oftern times live under the misconception that life will suddenl become easier, not being able to imagine what new, possibly exciting and also possibly stressful situations they might soon encounter.

The human spirit has a great capacity for providing love and support and belonging to a community is the foundation for maintaining a strong, positive spirt. It is our spirit that feels joy at triumphs, comforts us when we are tired and rallies us when we have no reason to continue.   The human spirit allows people to dig deep within them to survive through tough situations and do things they wouldn’t ordinarily consider.  However, we all need replenish and support and acceptance on some level.

For that reason, CFC has created a social web project for young adults based upon "NUTS"
Never Underestimate the Spirit

Spirit can mean many things.  CFC’s definition of spirit is an attitude or principle that inspires, animates, or pervades thought, feeling, or action.

And that is what this website is all about.  We want to inspire you to seek new friends, learn new ideas and to challenge yourself to discover your dreams and make them happen, right now, right here.

This website is designed to support and educate people, especially young adults, with a mental illness.

What you can expect to find here is camaraderie and acceptance and a voice to express yourself.

Features-Never Underestimate The Spirit:

  • Of Friendship – Bios for connecting to people
  • Of Community – Support group links and listings across the country
  • Of Communication – Forums for different topics
  • Of Adventure – A place to list activities for groups, etc, things of interest,  travel groups maybe
